Hi my name is Madeline Crosby, Im a Sports Media student at Hofstra University. I grew up figure skating and have always had a love for sports. I plan to pursue this passion further by studying sports media. Im currently apart of The New York Islanders Ice Crew, WRHU, Hofstra Sports Media and The Sports Chronicle. At school Im trying to widen my range of knowledge around all sports media to become a well rounded journalist.

In my future career I aspire to be an intermission reporter like Shannon Hogan. Im also interesting in sideline reporting and overall broadcasting Talent.

However while I’v been at Hofstra, I realized how much I love bing behind the scenes as well. I got to shoot my first ever volleyball game for the Sports Chronicle and had the opportunity to work in the control room for a live broadcast. I love the idea of being Talent, but in the end I love all production and would be happy anywhere in the world of sports media!
